2013 Paraduxx Atlas Peak Napa Valley Red Wine
Sold Out
Our Vineyard Series is a collection of limited-produced wines that offer their own inspired variations on the contemporary and innovative style of our Paraduxx red blends. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Sangiovese comes from the high slopes of Atlas Peak, where temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the valley floor. This ensures long, even ripening, yielding an elegantly textured wine with expressive layers of cherry, lavender and forest floor.

Winemaker Notes
The aromas are bright and lifted with layers of wild strawberry and raspberry underscored by hints of fresh-picked herbs. The vibrant red fruit notes continue on the palate, where a soft inviting texture adds weight and balance to tart berry flavors. Hints of bay, oregano and thyme mingle with the red fruit flavors during a long, focused finish.
Production
The 2013 harvest was early, even and excellent, with all of our Estate fruit in the winery by October 10th. A warm dry spring brought an early bud break and created ideal conditions for flowering and fruit set. In the weeks after Labor Day, a moderate heat event followed by a period of perfect weather created a dream scenario for end-of-season ripening. Rain was not a factor, and for the second vintage in a row, the quality of the grapes was exceptional throughout Napa Valley.
