Winemaker Notes
· Lifted aromas of honeysuckle, nectarine, dried apricot; citrus flower, honeydew and lime zest leap out of the glass
· The entry is full and rich, with a soft, viscous texture supported by a beam of vibrant acidity
· Flavors of melon, stone fruits and fresh cream conclude in a bright lingering finish highlighting granny smith apple and subtle citrus notes
Production
· Due to a wet spring and long, mild growing season, the 2010 harvest began two weeks later than normal
· A strong heat wave and late rains required us to be extra diligent during harvest, with a focus on fine-tuning and timely picking
· As is often the case in milder years, our 2010 wines are marked by their elegance and balanced natural acidity—qualities we have worked to preserve in the winery
