Very Good+ (92)
Ken’s Wine Guide
Some wine gets better with time and air. This blend from the Duckhorn family is one of those wines. As a matter of fact, I nursed this beauty over 3 or 4 days. It got better each day. It is ruby colored and opens with a mild blueberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very refined. The flavor profile is a yummy black cherry with notes of integrated blueberry and oak. The finish is dry and its well controlled tannins are gentle and caressing. As I mentioned, this wine really shins with time and air. It paired well with filet mignon and ragu bolognese.
