Baby Back Ribs
Serves 4-6
With the sweetness of the balsamic in the barbecue sauce, you will surely enjoy these ribs. You don't have to save these for summertime; they are great all year round and if you add corn bread and Barbecued Corn on the Cob, you've got a finger-licking feast..
- 2 racks baby back pork ribs
- Salt (preferably kosher or sea salt) and freshly ground pepper
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup Classic Barbecue Sauce with Balsamic (or substitute your favorite vinegar-based barbecue sauce)
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Season the ribs with salt and pepper to taste and place in a baking dish just large enough to hold them. Pour the wine over the ribs and cover the baking dish with foil. Bake for 2 hours. Prepare barbecue (medium heat). Cut each rib rack in half. Grill until browned, basting the ribs frequently with Classic Barbecue Sauce with Balsamic and turning often, about 10 minutes. Cut racks between bones into ribs. Remove from grill, brush once again with Barbecue Sauce, cut into 2-rib portions and serve immediately.
