Composition: 79% Zinfandel, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon
Lifted notes of dries apricot, honey suckle, forest strawberry and jasmine tea. Rich entry; consistent and balanced tannins with caramel and lingering notes of cedar spice and tobacco.
Due to a wet spring and long, mild growing season, the harvest began two weeks later than normal. A strong heat wave and late rains required us to be extra diligent during harvest, with a focus on fine-tuning and timely picking. As is often the case in milder years, our 2010 wines are marked by their elegance and balanced natural acidity—qualities we have worked to preserve in the winery
